I use the Fritz box 7390, a computer with Windows7-64Bit and a 32000-DSL. The following steps I took:
1. the current driver and the WLAN software of the AVM web site to download and install. (Filename "AVM_FRITZ! WLAN_USB_Stick_AC_430_x64_Build_140304")
2. After the USB flash drive plugged into the Fritz box as instructed.
3. the stick taken on the way back to the computer again.
4. Stick the supplied holder (very handy!) Connected to the PC. Serviced short.
5. Finally, the stick plugged into the holder ...
6. There was the usual installation routine and after a minute I could easily into the network without entering wireless keys or other things.
My conclusion: The purchase was worth it. No problems during installation. Wireless full bandwidth (the old stick had not managed) at only 40% of the performance.
