The drive is beautifully packaged and visually appealing, to match the Mac; processing I find absolutely fine and the rubberized stand it seemed relatively stable on my desk. Furthermore, it was immediately recognized by the Mac, the accompanying CD was unusable on Mac naturally.
Now for the negative. The eject button on the drive itself, did not work with; possibly it is on Mac, maybe the drive was broken, I do not know. The Eject key on my Apple keyboard also did not work, what I had but I actually thought before buying.
The CD door opened now (I had to repeatedly separate the Mac, as it is also virtually no lies open the drive.), She went from a few centimeters and had to be pulled out by hand. As I said, perhaps this unit was broken and this is not the normal case. Anyway, I found it extremely disturbing.
Both BluRay and DVD read very quickly, but with a, to my mind, even while looking the film clearly perceptible noise that I found disturbing. At the Drive was quiet but on the table and vibrated significantly less than the SuperDrive from Apple.
All DVDs that I had tested were not upscaled to HD, was actually realized how I think in retrospect, however, I was still a little disappointed.
Conclusion, I sent back the drive on the same day. At least on Mac, it is not really suitable for watching films; it does not open properly, and often not at all, is a bit noisy and the selling HD upscaling and the Eject button does not working. I would say that the device is only moderately compatible Apple.
