The bag is slightly padded inside. Our SX 150 IS fits in perfectly and is adequately protected. Unfortunately, the bag has no compartment in which I can reasonably accommodate extra batteries, therefore only 3 stars
I can utilize the batteries while inside, put in probably dedicated side pocket, but it is then almost impossible to pack the camera sensibly. The bag could be improved. Would not buy again
