The adapter transmits well the image of my Galaxy Note 10.1 on my Philips TV but no sound. I checked all the settings, I plugged the power where needed, tried different HDMI cables, various HDMI inputs ... but without success. If I want to have the sound, I have to use an audio cable into the headphone jack (connected to external speakers) and half out plug. Do not do it at all!
