- No, the Teac is not equal. A component is different (see Amazon Answers at Teac). Without having it myself compared: The difference is, according to Internet electronic philosophical and be difficult to hear. At 250 EUR the past 50 EUR have the carbon not made rich. I like the brand.
- The sound is dynamic, finer resolution. An editor of a major online magazine talks about "as if a curtain pulled away" ... I hear that too. Everything is free, more detailed. Across the spectrum with better resources.
- I have the device with the Bose in Ear (IE2 and QuietComfort 20i) in use, and with an extra purpose purchased Sennheiser Momentum. Especially in combination to the latter, it happens to me regularly that I just grin when listening to music. This combination makes me happy, but in all three applications, the difference for me is clear.
- The service is only for lovers. Phone + cable + Onkyo + headphones = Much confusion. This is done only when you're really looking for the last 10% sound quality. Mobile that's kind of gaga.
- 300 EUR a house number - In addition, the device loads my phone during operation and thus empties its own battery (perhaps still is to me). And fast loading is probably not yet been known at Onkyo. The daaaauuuueeeert.
Conclusion: 4 stars due to the limited usability. But very nice for people who feel like two hours hanging out with good music on the couch and doing nothing else - except to enjoy. For users of 20 EUR Headphones the money is better invested differently.
