no tip device

I bought the unit a few days ago. Actually I wanted to take no Bosch tool more, because I with appliances from Bosch had to collect previously bad experience in terms of service life. The advertising price of less than 700 EUR but then let me throw out my reservations and here my knowledge about the product:

The dimensions of this freezer differ from a normal device type. Whoever opts for this device, should examine the intended parking space to the effect and also make sure that the road is suitable for this parking space (not to narrow door frames etc.). Also, keep in mind that the weight (at least about 87 kg) makes transport on a narrow staircase to a small challenge.

I picked up my machine from the depot of my dealer himself. The transport was carried out in combination (Golf VI). The GS sticking out the back a bit and I had to secure device and tailgate. From a transport on the roof rack, I would advise against.

To create the GS in the basement, was nevertheless quite an effort. At this point I must criticize the handles. There are embedded two handles in the upper region of the rear wall. These are suitable for horizontal transport. For a vertical transport such as a staircase, they are completely unsuitable as narrow these shells inside. Man slips his fingers inevitably out of the cup when the device is to be lifted in a relatively upright position up or down. I do not understand how one can construct so bad!

In terms of build quality, I must mention the rear panel. Here is an aluminum foil is glued. Unfortunately, I noticed only in the basement, that the film was bonded quite remiss in my device. It is bumpy and there are air bubbles. However, I do not know whether the impact on the functionality and fuel economy has. Anyway, I would doubt that there has been a final check for the device here.

I want to leave unmentioned the door handle. Normally encountered in freezers to a handle with a small lever mechanism. This lever mechanism ensures that the strong magnetic hold the door or the vacuum is overcome in the device. This device is no such link mechanism unfortunately. This means that you have to pull the door but very brave. That's on the one hand and on the other ugly it usually means that the freezer despite its enormous weight on the tile floor slips slightly. The advertising message of Bosch (light door opening on the air duct system) well describes just wishful thinking.

The construction of the flap to the top shelf, I would describe as an accident. The problem is that you can sometimes zoom comes from handling at the box underneath these flap and then often sufficient know that it rises.

When the volume of the unit, I feel that there has been no progress here compared to my previous model. It seems to me to be even louder. But as the GS is in the basement, it does not bother me.

Another gripe I would have still: there is no spacer on the rear panel. One can the device as far against the wall until it is directly on the wall with the heat exchanger (one should avoid but, as this would increase the energy consumption). It has above in any case still a gap to the wall so no rational wall completion.

That the display can only be seen with the door open, I find failed. But I assume that there is hardly interesting things here that you have to constantly watch and when the GS has a problem, there are audible warnings if it is not just dealing with a power outage.

Conclusion: the device has good facilities and very good fuel economy. There is plenty of net capacity available, this is yet to variable use. The thing with the lighting is good. In addition to these positive things there also clear shortcomings (see above). Now that this GS is once there, I keep him - I had to decide again, I'd probably buy another device.

Addendum: The unit now runs for about 2 months in my household. The power consumption is agreeably low - extrapolated to one year I'll actually almost to the value specified by the manufacturer.
