So, back to the year 1989. A completely new music trend in Germany, Austria and Switzerland: the popular hits boomed. A year earlier, it all started with the Original Naabtal Duo that all of a sudden with Patrona Bavariae was ranked 16 of the German single charts. The associated album also shot in the Long Play Charts. All were amazed and found it all but also irgendie well, something new. That was 89 just so on, on this CD or LP at that time even the best folk music hits of the years are gathered. Herzblatt were refreshingly new and anderst, Stefan Mross won the Grand Prix, Patrick Lindner was the new heartthrob (albeit in vain, how but only turned out) and the Kastelruther Spatzen stood at the beginning of her long career. Lots of great hits, there were in this year, so this CD is still like in the car. Back then the world was still in order.
