Non standard optical cables

These optical cables (I ordered 2 simultaneously) are not standard for the optical fiber and strapping exceed 2mm in length (1 mm strapping too and 1 mm fiber protruding from the rim)
Consequences: does not fit into the optical input of the TV Sony KDL-50W815B.
I should point out that the problem is recurring on 4 bits of 2 cables purchased.
Vendor Response, just get on with AMAZON!
