Shibari is complex - and for many, this is a hurdle that deters one. But that would be a shame, and because it makes sense to start looking for good instructions.
It is at this point but fails "Complete Shibari" (incidentally, the title merely an empty promise).
- The instructions are nested and fitted with abstract symbols, so that frequent leaves is essential back and forth.
- Not always the instructions are very understandable - and in some steps expects the author that the reader fills in the gaps himself.
- The images support the instructions only very moderately and the sparse and boring (English) text fails wide of the goal.
- The book fails mercilessly on the aesthetics - and when I read a review here some that emanates exactly the opposite, I have to laugh wonderfully. The photos are all written in his own living room of the author, from which he himself also makes no secret and far from any professionalism. The camera was easy draufgehalten - regardless of losses. Set lighting and image processing have not been here. Instead, rules the naked truth. The selected Bildauschnitte are often unfavorably, the photos often too small and feel sorry for the ladies, which have stood model.
- But safety instructions .. vorahnden very sparse
- Background knowledge is .. barely mentioned.
- Rope customer .. in this book not worth mentioning.
- The format of the book is ridiculously small, but the price is relatively high
I recommend very clear the books of Knotty Boys. Understandable explanations, much nicer and better pictures, clear and simple outline, fair price, larger format, amusing and friendly writing style.
Stay away from "Complete Shibari"
