Again Win7 would have been useful, as already obsolete before Win8 I was afraid, because I'm quite a computer DAU, so was my thought, why not try a Mac?
So first bought the Mac Bible by Anton Ochsenknecht, researched on the internet, but I was not much smarter.
Allen courage together and simply ordered a Mac online.
What can I say, Mac came after 4 weeks from Ireland, plugged in, turned on, wireless input password, and I was at www. In mail yet entered the mail provider, the password, and came the first mail.
In less than 15 minutes, my Mac was ready, no error messages, no problems at all, the book I did not need, googling I did not have to, I also had to ask anybody and as DAU.
The next afternoon, I then my photos, music, documents, videos beamed via external drive to your Mac, favorites and contacts created Google Chrome downloaded, an Apple ID created and made some fine adjustments.
The change has not cost me a total of more than 4 hours time, everything worked without problems.
The only problems for which I have so far found no solution: My Samsung Laser Printer does not print in color and my Samsung Note 3 does not want to cooperate with the Mac and the Mac.
Overall, the Mac is much more fun than any Win computer, everything goes faster, easier and looks better, no annoying daily updates, no stupid virus scanner, no error messages. With the merger of Drive Mac drives faster high as my Samsung Tablet.
Magic Mouse and keyboard are a revelation, the Control Panel is very simple and clear.
No more metal box under the table, no tangled cables, no external Webcam longer necessary, without external speakers needed, everything was clean, neat and tidy.
For office work, I can not take pleasure but the Mac, the font is too small, although you can put down the resolution of the screen, but then she is out of focus. The Pages word processing program Word can not hold a candle, and is only partly compatible with Word files.
In your browser, you can zoom with the Magic Mouse, the small font does not interfere, in Pages works the unfortunately not.
But since I only write two letters a year, I can live with it, but for Office I would not recommend the Mac.
After approximately 4 weeks, I have to switch no regrets, my Mac I give her no more, I do not need Windows and I do not miss.
Migration fears are unwarranted, a Mac comes each deal if you only surf, mail, Facebook, watch movies, online shopping and banking do want, you are ready after 15 minutes and does not encounter any obstacles.
So get to the Mac!
