Martin and James, I know for a while now, after my boyfriend someday overheard the music store and bought the first CD. I was and am of their music still very impressed, and was already on some concerts in which they can still show a lot better the quality of their songs. The new CD I bought right on the release date, and I have not been disappointed, however, it is easy yet very different, unlike the first album, and especially to the self-produced EP. The songs are a total of more pop and "smooth" become, but this certainly is due to that more attention was paid to radio capability, after they have also become well known. Only two songs, "The Rope" and "Life's a show" have been written by M & J completely alone, and there still is most then left over from their usual style. The other songs are not bad, but I like the folky, not as smooth ironed style simple of the two best. Nevertheless, I would recommend the CD without restrictions, and in particular should be, if you like their music, visit one of their concerts, because there they can only show properly what they have music on it.
