I come mixed listening to this collection of stories. Certainly, there are times "old" Stephen King (I think of the catchy themes, closer to what we offered in 80-90 years, especially) but the new King was rather too far. The master of horror was indeed the detestable habit of "looking write" and ended up bogged down in descriptions uninteresting and completely unnecessary digressions. This mania, if it helps to set the scene, is most annoying time, especially in a collection of stories. These are supposed to get to the point, what the hell!
Nevertheless, I enjoyed some of the stories that would be of little jewels if they were "degreased" a good shot. I think especially of Willa, a very small corner and N. Mention very well to the audio version of reader whose voice a little gruff makes them really pleasant to listen to stories (even worse, say it!)
