.. But not completely!
I was afraid that the rug is too big, no it's almost the opposite (I read the size without making me really aware of what it was going to ....)
On opening the smell is just infects, I left out for a while until it passes a little (hardly!) ..
It is a little more than fonçé in photo (not severe) ..
Regarding the purpose of buying: yes the carpet pretty guard litter grains is better than nothing .. ..
But not enough yet ... I use a "natural" litter and it's just the horror, the "sawdust" wood there - almost - everywhere! (Casino brand or new Catsan) .. but indeed the "biggest" is "caught" by the mat ...
I will change bedding and if necessary I would make a comment if addition carpet "on" better with another product.

I said that I have a kitten, he plays with the litter grains (so it also removes the carpet), it sometimes made her claws on it, it does not help for the carpet is super effective!

In short: I do not regret this purchase .. but I hope with another product-litter and the cat that grows will be even better .. (less play with the grain?)

Edit 01/31/15: I said that my litter box no longer "door" ..
I changed absorbent: I took a "very fine silica" special kitten or cat ... sensitive and quite volatile once on the ground, result: when I get home I feel I walk on ... sugar !! : Unbearable!
So yes the carpet pretty guard this "sugar" but again it's not enough, it may be worse than before ..
By cons is easier to clean the carpet with sawdust ...

Edit 02/09/2015: Catsan litter ("normal"), the carpet quite catch grains, again this is not completely the top but much better than with sawdust or silica ..

2 days after the addition of 9/2 .. an unfortunate mud came to stay on the carpet, the cat played with ... and the galley !! .. steering the trash!
