Overall, I have not found the wrong book, but I can not say either that it has captivated me. I found myself, like the other players, Jesse Kellerman sometimes lost in uninteresting digressions (about the art world in particular), digressions that slowed the thread of the story, and that Furthermore, the novel singularly lacked suspense to a so-called thriller: no real surprises in the resolution, not the least stroke of theater worthy of the name. The basic idea was nevertheless attractive -a masterful work of art appears to represent the faces of disparus- children, but in my opinion has not kept its promises. The fact that this novel has won the Grand Prix of Lectrices "She" puzzles me because overall, without a turnip, it remains relatively any both in form and in substance, and presents nothing remarkable warranting any distinction.
A possibly read if you love the world of art and galleries but certainly not essential ...
