Not bad, but far too expensive for us!

JBL / Harman manages at least with their larger speakers sound genuine rauszukitzeln, I am thinking in particular of the Go + Play, or the radial, etc. The smaller models have been on tour never inspired me much.
The new On Tour Micro was brought out in 2 versions, denoted by Bluetooth so "wireless" and without with "II", which I do not want quite evident why the Bluetooth version must be almost twice as expensive in this country.

In any case, the new On Tour Micro sounds a lot better than the old version. Thanks bass reflex duct leaves the new On Tour Micro now quite imagine a little bass. He plays down to about 100Hz, including one hears no longer much. He is also not particularly critical formation, in contrast to the Jambox etc which rather a corner or a rear wall needs to ensure that the bass is not completely lost. Particularly noteworthy is the high volume of new JBL On Tour Micro, it beats most I know mini speaker and it is also equipped with a dynamic sound processing, the peaks more compressed at high volume levels to prevent distortion. The fact that the bass reflex port something prone to farting at higher volumes, is probably unavoidable at this size.

The build quality is top, the speaker looks really chic and is not much bigger or heavier than a Wavemaster Mobi. By means of an additional connection, several speakers can be linked together to the output to push additionally if required.

If I were to complain about something, then that something unbalanced sound tuning. The speaker sounds relatively treble / mid-heavy, through the on the whole rather restrained bass, the sound stops just not in balance. By "less treble" Preset on Iphone it sounds quite a bit rounder and more comfortable because the centers do not come so pushy. Too bad also that the sound is not optimized at low volumes. Something Bass Boost would quite the little helping hand when one needs not just maximum volume.

The new JBL On Tour Micro can assert itself definitely in the opaque jungle of mini speakers halfway. A Wavemaster MOBI he beats all sound, which he draws from an optimally prepared Digitus Super Bass, it was rather the shorter because of Digitus at appropriate resonance underlay can drown out a lot "fatter".

The price of JBL's pretty tricky for what is offered and the sound would this even better optimized and volume terms adapted part so as not to leave a whole so tinny impression. I had originally placed like 4 stars, but given the high price, I decided to withdraw another. In the US, wireless version by 59 $ will be offered, with us there are nearly 100 "price hikes", which is more than twice as much !!!
