But the coverage in practice is so so small then, is then but a reason to complain! I live in an area with houses and greenery (Northern Germany - ie lowland). Only within a radius of about 600-800 meters Communication from house to house was possible. Compared to me previously purchased Motorola PMR Twinpack TLKR T4 (returned), the range with 8 km of specified when TLRK T6 - ie 2 km more than the T4. So you might think but that the device even when the actually extremely shorter values in practice further than the T4. Nope. Under the same test conditions as the T4 the T6 was made whole 50 meters - At least ;-)
Further functions:
- Room monitor function is useless because they only activated in very loud noise - even in the most sensitive setting.
- VOX function is reasonably ok, but is only reliable if you speak directly into the microphone. You do not press then stop. As meaningful Speakerphone, the device z. B. is then next one, go only if you scream. So the benefit is limited accordingly.
- Channel search, etc. works technically ready. Who's need ...
The highlight at the end:
If you press the Talk button, you have to wait about 1 second before you can losreden. Before that part does not send sounds. Which development engineer comes up with something like this only? The T4 had not. That said, I do not know any other devices where you have a delay in the talk button.
