Used with Cambridge Audio Azur amplifier 540 A and Q Acoustics speakers, the sound is very good in the bass, medium and lower medium but I think the highs are slightly aggressive. My source is a Popcorn Hour C200 connected by a coaxial cable to the DAC. I already had this problem by connecting the C200 directly to my amp. Perhaps despite the coaxial connection and thus shunting the internal DAC Popcorn, the C200 still continues to influence the sound ... I have neither the knowledge nor the gear to check. FYI, on my PC, I have a sound card mini MBOX connected to a Cambridge Audio Topaz M5 and Qacoustics pregnant and I think the sound is perhaps (but not sure ...) chouillat a less precise but much more pleasant tuned, much rounder, not aggressive in the treble (listening with footbar 2000 Asio).
About sending, Amazon gave the package relay my nickname instead of my surname! In short it made me lose a day. Nothing serious.
PS: I return to my review treble screaming: it seems DAfter what I've read on the net that comes from the Popcorn Hour C200. In fact, many users have found that adding a coaxial DAC did not change the sound. I tested the DAC Magic 100 USB on my PC instead of the mbox mini and the sound does not have this feature in the treble. In short, I could put 5 stars.
