Basically, I find the home theater system very successfully. Sonically it is much better than my old Pioneer 5.1 home theater system. In almost all frequency ranges myself convinces the home theater system and the subwoofer makes a lot of pressure without sounding harsh. Two of selectable sound programs sound a little overloaded, but the rest are great. An absolute highlight was the football sound program that provides much more stadium feeling for me. Super and almost unique are the LEDs in the floor-standing speakers, because they have a kind of Ambilight feature, which enhances the viewing experience even something for me. Visually, I find the home theater system very successfully. It looks good and is still very compact. The AV receiver's menu is very similar to the Playsation. When it comes to connectivity, the system also convinced me. Bluetooth and DLNA function super. Whether the Windows notebook, Android or IOS. Access to my Plex server also functioned very simple. If you hold an NFC-enabled device to the AV receiver This will automatically resumes from standby. The unit also features WoL and can be awakened and controlled by Songpal App.
But ....
The ordered system of mine has always lost the connection to the wireless rear speakers. I have tried everything possible, another frequency band, channel change the home WLAN used, encrypted signal to the rear speakers, etc. Unfortunately, without success! The permanent dropouts express themselves by flickering the LED and short skip. None of the wireless devices at home normally used generates noise, which I rate as a positive and not speak for a high susceptibility. I suspect that the wireless distribution station is defective for the rear speakers.
Annoying I feel also that the AV receiver frequently crashes and only by interrupting the power connection can be restored. Unfortunately, there is neither a switch on the device nor a reset button. It remains an annoying plug.
I'm very demanding in terms such devices, at least in terms of stability and functionality. I am not a specialist in sound! What some people out there are listening so remains hidden from me ;-) This only to classify my review.
