I usually had always Birkenstock Papillio or, have this time but resorted to this more favorable brand from Birkenstock. These are much cheaper and would not another brand name stand on it, you would recognize at first glance no difference. However, the condition / Quality and durability seems not to connect with the more expensive models to come. After about half a year, the cork sole starts at the edges dissolve and the leather layer peels off. This behavior I know of, for example Papillio as well, but only after several years. Depending on how quickly the "resolution process" the cork sole progresses and how long it will actually hold at the end, but I would possibly still grab again to Betula.
