The unit now delivers more than half a year good services. Problems associated with my Macbook Pro Retina I could find none. The only criticism is the performance of USB 3.0 ports.
A test of my external SSDs delivers with Blackmagic approximately 480MB / s when the plate is connected directly to the Macbook.
When I connect it via the docking station, it is unfortunately only about 180MB / s
