Have this fryer now for a few months as a release for my durchgeglühte "Super-Cool-fryer" (also Tefal) in use. For my 4-person household, the capacity is sufficient. The fat is quite fast hot and this makes it ready quickly. Filtration I personally find rather pointless and unnecessary: to filter the used grease, the oil has to be heated first, so that it becomes liquid and then take out the hot heating element. The result is the usual and unavoidable mess and very dangerous, due to the hot parts also. Sooner or later you will be moved to just not rauszufiltern the crumbs after each use. Instead, completely changed the grease after a few passages, and cleaned the unit. So I have no problem ... What bothers me, however, is for a device in this price range, there is no bracket, which receives the hot lid when you open it. You have to put it somewhere or hold in your hand ... Here the designer responsible would in the land of the rising sun can do a lot of improvement with very little effort! For this and for the absurd filter I prefer each from a star. This is certainly my last fryer of this manufacturer, silly little features and thoughtful design justify for me no high prices.
