I am talking here particularly to the Etudes, which account for a large part of this CD. I'm glad to hear played by a wide variety of pianists. Even the first op. 25, which is called the aeolian harp, is of such a dripping and, in my opinion, embossed innapropriate phrase that I hear them reluctantly. In comparison, I would call Nikita Magaloff whose version touched me. Sober and yet at the crucial points of insight with passion. He has also recorded the complete Chopin. A recording that a few well known and merits far greater attention. With all technical know-how does not want to use the right listening with Lang Lang. You can tell the previous reviews that this is about a media star who also draws and just people who otherwise probably deal with rather little classical music and have no comparison shots. Who likes it, it should take the opportunity, sometimes to hear recordings of other very good pianists, because they are there. :)
