In the office I have a Senseo, a home MyCup. It therefore makes sense to compare. The MyCup Costet a lot more than Senseo, and rightly so in my opinion. Dei machine looks much better processed, has a selectable amount of water and is technically very different. While in the Senseo a boiler heats the water and this is then pumped through the pad, the MyCup like a "real" full-auto toll has a thermal block, which heats the water during pumping. Advantage of the thermal block is emptied after each brew, so it is not always water in the machine. Disadvantage: the first cup could be warmer, so I let most of a cup without pad through, then the cup and the machine is warm. Otherwise the coffee with milk is just too cold. In daily use, I have come to appreciate the following points at the MyCup: + The arbitrary amount of water + The container for the Pads + They will not drip when the cup is full (the annoying at the Senseo) + Big water tank + You can not insert the pads wrong (who times wrong with a pad Senseo purely lays knows what I mean) + The MyCup has a genuine on / off switch and is no standby unit In summary, one can say that MyCup is easy to use, makes very good coffee and can convince. It is more expensive than other pad machines, but the money is well spent. We can only hope that the selection of pads still increasing. Who likes to drink coffee with lots of milk is should consider buying the MyCup fortiori, because the strong Pads (variety vigorous and spicy) and a little water you can almost make a cappuccino, plus it takes at Senseo already two pads for a cup. One more thing to the pads themselves, these are individually (ie without oxygen) packed, although this makes a lot of trash, but for infrequent drinkers that is optimal, well who the pads with 19 cent cost a little more than Senseo (about 15 cents)
