After much back and forth I decided to Stöckli, because I wanted a steamer with metal baskets. Whether it is better in the steam cooking, as a DG with plastic baskets .... I do not know, but what I can say - it works properly, is stable and has plenty of space (and we cook for a 4 person household). It has a digital timer to set the cooking time. I also like the oval / oblong shape of asparagus, as it is already tight in the round DG's. 2 Garkörbe suffice completely. Certainly the Stöckli is not very cheap, but who wants a DG of metal .... Cons I could find so far no.
