This is a book that describes the flora and fauna "base" of the Caribbean, but it is not comprehensive enough in the descriptions: - The most common fruits are noted, but not others. - We do not know if some plants are poisonous (and the degree of toxicity) - If the other plants and fruit trees are eaten (only the description of leaves, flowers, we do not really know if the fruit is edible or how to use it: eg the Génipa) - A small library of trees, only 5 are described while there are many more. - Same for some fish or crustaceans, no one knows if they are protected, toxic or not, or just not interesting from a taste point of view ... Small logos "toxic" or "edible" could complement the descriptions, but it still lacks information on a lot of points.
