As a beginner when it comes to the painting miniatures, I have resorted to Quick Shade, because my shading by hand would be too costly. I have therefore mainly shaded zombies and for that the look is perfect. The figures then look pretty dirty and I mind you painted, not dipped. The surplus is cleaned, all the trimmings. Nevertheless, the figures come heavily blacked out of the procedure. As I said, for zombies or any armies great for characters that one would like to make colorful, Quick Shade is not really suitable. Basically you should spray the figures again with Matt Spray because they shine very. Then of course you can again apply brighter colors, but with all the effort then the question arises, why has used übrhaupt Quick Shade.
