I have the boxing for about 1 year in operation. However, they will not be much older to me. At first I was also excited about the first impression. The bass is very good ("Volkswagen - Das Auto" like in the movies) and also the heights are well reproduced. However, the problem is the center frequencies. While the audio quality is permissible even in pop music with voice, she is in orchestral Classical Music / Light music is no longer acceptable for my personal taste. There is a lack of transparency, sound the mid tones mixed together mushy. However, this is also related to the principle of two-way technology. Here it is evidently difficult to produce a balanced sound. Either the channels are too far apart, then the mid-tones are too low given (in these boxes tend to be the case) or they overlap in the frequency domain so strong that everything becomes a mishmash. Probably you can not avoid 3-way speakers. However, there are amplifier / speaker systems, in which the channels are processed already in the amplifier electronics (not only by crossovers in the boxes), ie one has 4 cables for each 2-way box. I have such a compact system from Panasonic (already old). Although the boxes are even smaller than the present magnate boxes, but they sound much more transparent and offer a significantly higher musical enjoyment. Actually, I'd only awarded 3 stars, but I think that the 2-way technique in principle not much longer ago are and given the good price-performance ratio: 4 stars.
