The filter has a very slight green cast. Normally, does not stand out, but with extreme wide-angle lenses (10mm on crop sensor) I have noticed a green screen. Probably comes from the fact that that the light rays fall diagonally through the filter and therefore travel a longer path through the glass.
In theory may lead sensitivity to color casts or blur the IR, in practical situations, but me no difference between recordings with or without IR filters are still noticed.
For telephoto lenses as a UV / IR filter is certainly a good alternative to pure UV filter. For wide-angle I stay at the UV filter.
