Contrary to what announces product description (adapted wet), I did not find this terrible block for watercolor. If you wet the paper gondola immensely. The paper color is much darker than the picture (actually brown) which somewhat spoils the colors in your palette. In short, not outstanding and a bit disappointing for watercolor compared to what is advertised and a great brand like Clairefontaine.
