Disadvantage compared with the Sony: is somewhat thicker through the lamp at the back of the cover. The Sony looks even more elegant, but that's a matter of taste.
Some buyers complained that the lamp is not bright enough and the battery could be exhausted quickly. I must say that this is not true. The lamp is bright enough to read well even in total darkness. Also, the entire screen is well illuminated. The battery lasts now already over 10 hours of operation. (More often I have the lamp is not to be used).
Also complained more, that they would interfere with an extreme odor. Clear the thing smells when it is new, now times after leatherette. But after a few days the smell was completely gone.
Initially there was also with me a little loose connection in the lamp that was because the batteries were very loose in there. Then just open the battery compartment, turn the contacts a little, so that the batteries are fixed. Problem solved. Then there is no more bad contact.
The cover sheet can fold back, so the reader is then almost talk if you want to put it down. Without folding it is not just because of the lamp, which is tuned sewn back.
The weight is with the reader in order so that you also can read with one hand.
Addendum 31.10.2013:
I use the cover now since the beginning of the year. Also quite often I used the lamp and the battery still holds. So do not worry that you constantly have to replace the batteries. Am also still fully satisfied with the cover.
