With it followed "Morning Sci Fi" I can only here and there really befriend me until today. This is not because that the panel would have been bad, but it reminded me personally particularly through the involvement of Peter Hook (New Order), to gloomy Syntipopsongs 80s, which is certainly a matter of taste, but yet another overall feeling brought mitsich than previously "Wide Angle".
However, "Morning Sci Fi" was also supported by the involvement Kirsty Hawkshaws (including former female singer of Torch Song / Wiliam Orbit ...) and the singing of your trip-hop Balade ennobled "Blackout".
On the current hybrid disc "I Choose Noise" I was very excited because of the previous albums, and have to say that I find disappointing despite repeated through Hörenen.
Hybrid has always delivered outstanding melodies or songs with very clear sound in spite of strong rhythm orientation. The good songs are now sought in vain despite the Mitwirkens of guest vocalists, belonging as usual on "I Choose Noise" standard.
Was delivered as compared to the previous albums a series of uninspired breakbeat pattern that would have found on previous albums as most breaks tracks place and who left with me at any time make a lasting impression.
However, when mixing was sloppy. Galten the previous albums cope as a reference album for high-end hi-fi systems, the pieces sound only slightly differentiated and at times unclear by too much reverb and poor mixing. As I have subsequently read in an English review of "I Choose Noise", the miserable sound should be that hybrid has sold the pieces on their own website as MP3 files prior to the publication of this CD and has not found it necessary, these for the CD project remix, or to pull from the master tapes.
"I Choose Noise" will be found as suspect the other reviews at absolute hybrid fans liked.
My opinion is certainly not essential for everyone, which is why I therefore before making a purchase, as long as the possibility of an extensive pre-listening recommend!
