- Less expensive
- Fully inserted into my 5D MkIII
- Recognized and mandated by the Canon charger
- Recognized as a Canon 5D MkIII by the battery, stored as a Canon battery
Cons:
- Very fast in the first ignition of the battery housing is poorly recognized: displaying a load fell to zero ?? After switching off and on of the actual load box is displayed.
- Presence of micro-drops on T and C contacts of the battery after using the unit for an hour or two: the battery runs when hot? Fortunately that the housing is not feeding through these contacts that serve for me to establish "dialogue" between the battery and the charger and between the battery and the case ... No microdrop during a sporadic use short duration ...
That fact that I no longer use it, I put it in the case time to charge the battery Canon. I think to order a second battery and Canon Phottix only use this as a last resort while checking regularly when inserted into the housing so these micro-droplets appear ...
So rather disappointed with this purchase (risk of fear related to casting the battery)
