I personally prefer to drink tea and am not a coffee fan. The two plastic spoons are not very heat resistant, I feel that have warped by the heat a little. You can use the spoon but still.
The whistle is very annoying and shrill. I think this has the sense that one is so annoyed at the end and then actually pulls the plug, because the kettle has neither a shutdown nor a on-off switch. The water would then simply permanently continue cooking until the end all the water has evaporated and a lot of energy was consumed. I think the producers would have here instead of investing in a production of a whistle, prefer to think of an on-off switch and an automatic switch-off. If you want to really make this your kettle, you should also order a switchable socket adapter so. I am actually a young and educated lady, but sometimes I guess with my technical jargon and to my limits. For dry running I've never heard of in my entire life and I have something else I pictured below. After some research on the internet, however, it turned out that it is merely a function that the kettle does not turn on when there is no water. Works well so far, there have tried it out. However, I find this feature a bit redundant, because I anyway only plug in the kettle when I plan to boil water. And pure water to fill forget there's never happened to me.
Even more negative:
Apart from the fact that the kettle was not expensive, it is small and robust and accessories for traveling is super useful, this kettle unfortunately has a lot of negative points. I would not buy this kettle again and look also currently looking for a new order, but this time I take my time with my choice because of the kettle is still working.
But now again to the negative points.
1. For short cable: The cable is just 0.5 meters long or short. At first I thought it should be sufficient. But then I often found on travel that sometimes it was only possible to put the kettle on the ground because the outlets were mounted very inconvenient and I quite by accident not always an extension in my purse. 6. No off switch: As the kettle already has no switch-off, an on-off switch would have been the least. But no even that has not the kettle. Either you pull the plug or you worried to a switchable socket adapter.
You can already see that the disadvantages outweigh this kettle very. I am glad that he somehow water boiled until I found a suitable replacement. After that I will probably feed him my trash can.
Conclusion:
This kettle is more bad than good. The idea itself is good and the accessory is also great. Also nice is that you can do all the accessories in the kettle in and so everything is safely stowed.
However, there are so many disadvantages that it is not worth to buy this kettle even when the price is low. It is simply a cheap way device. It has no switch-off, no on-off switch, the cable is too short, the maximum filling quantity can not use it, the product description is misleading and there is no separate water tank. I'm just glad that I know the kettle is not yet flown around the ears, looking already for a replacement unit.
