Then the real difficulty begins. The software requires a 64-bit Java plug-in that does not work in all web browsers. On a Windows computer a live picture another configuration was neither Chrome, Firefox nor Internet Explorer available, let alone possible. On a MacBook with Safari and appropriate plugin then ran. On the associated Lite App (Android) it worked directly; but there can not be made advanced settings. Then, to configure the mail delivery with activated alarm and then also get a snapshot picture at the same time, absolute patience was required. Obviously z. B. are not supported all mail providers. In Outlook.de it has only worked once, then never again (spam folder nil), with Gmail, we went. In the downloadable manual (part: Advanced Settings) incorrect IP addresses are specified for the web-based configuration. Therefore, first a direct access was not possible; after access via the login page can be accessed via the MacBook done (there were also the correct IP addresses appear). Overall, I spent nearly 10 hours on the device / configuration until all functions were set up as desired (by the way I have been working professionally in the IT sector and do not do this for the first time). One night I got 139 alarms on the movement alert. This was difficult to understand because there were very few changes in light in the room. Also a limitation of the monitoring area via the software was not successful. The tone detection I had already disabled with similar experiences. There, too, you had to set the sensitivity to maximum to get any permanent messages. The triggered "Rest messages" were barely understandable.
Conclusion: For a monitoring via live image suitable, but not for monitoring via alarm. The cameras I sent back.
