not so bad, but ...

I have to tell at first: I am not a "gamer", hence I concentrate on Windows 8.1 to the "daily business": Smaller video editing, etc.
Whether Windows 8 or 8.1 is better than its predecessors, everyone must enscheiden for themselves.

Problems with my 3 1/2 year old Dell computer (1 TB HDD, 8GB RAM) does not exist. The computer starts faster than Win. 7

On the tiles I can do without, since I only work with the desktop. The new Start button is really a joke, so I decided on a start button a third-party which simulates a Win 7 Start Button.

Awkwardly I find the upgrade of Win 8 to 8.1 .. Here should Microsoft for a few EUR an installation DVD with a generic key (generic key = only for installation purposes and without Altivierungsmöglichkeit) offer. Remedy can create only when a user with an ISO file procured to himself to burn a DVD.

The software used by me runs without problems on Win 8.1., There were in the past, only problems with antivirus programs.
