Predecessor George Martin put his attention much more on the beat the early 70s with the likes of Isaac Hayes Theme made his name through his Shaft.
Golden Gun Bond is not a bad score: on the contrary, pieces like Let's go get'em are still a true classic (Bond Theme) Bond makes a AMC Hornet a 360 degree jump over a broken bridge at the Klongs (best scene in the movie). But we evaluate here the soundtrack and not the movie. Other highlights Chew me in Crisly country and Goodnight Goodnight and almost all tracks playing on Scaramanga's island. Something covered are the Tracks The Man with the Golden Gun (both, only the Main Title sung by Lulu and the instrumental of Barry himself).
Good, matching score to Roger Moore, but a far cry from the truly magnificent score of Sean Connery.

Additional:
Now you have a still mention: actually on YouTube exists the complete score in a fascinating good quality. Overall, we've got well over 30 tracks, so even a short 20 tracks over each EMI Audio CD. Okay, many of these tracks are very short or include a so-called CUE, so it (eg Nero) is difficult without a proper audio software to bring the tracks are all in the right order.
Top course Bond in Macau or Kung Fu Fight Part 1, and Recovering the Solex, but also the other tracks worth listening to! :-)
