Unfortunately, I had already unpacked my doubts about the quality - but more on that later.
My baby is 9 months old. Cognitively, it is definitely too small for Aqua Doodle. While there is the stamp pad and the stamp exciting, but only to suck it or throw it around. That you "paint" on the mat can not even interested. Now children are indeed completely different, I have therefore taken the Aqua Doodle baby in the toddler group. The babies all have is not interested in the "results", ie the "color" on the mat. Only the older children from 15 months have understood the principle and used the mat.
The age recommendation "from 9 months" I guess therefore as much too early. This leads at worst merely mean that parents "too slow" or "poorly developed" keep their normally developed children.
The quite bad review does not justify, however, because you can easily put away the game yes even half a year.
The biggest complaint I have is the quality of the mat. It is much thinner and lighter than I know it from other, older Aqua Doodles. By Faltknicke it is hardly possible to lay the mat smooth. She curls, warps and trying displayed as the baby on the package, it enforce or bäuchling lie, everything stays in place in seconds to a skein, on the painting is no longer possible.
Conclusion: The idea is certainly great for older babies, but the quality of a disaster.
