So returned again and get a replacement.
ME is the electronics is not enough protected from the ultrasonic waves, so that the unit from overheating internally.
The more than meager manual gives no indication of how long is allowed to run the machine until a cooling period must be inserted.
If this equipment should have the same defect, I will order no more Dema device.
Update 07/03/2014: device also defective. - Display while counts down, but ultrasonic generator
failed.
Conclusion: device is not suitable for continuous operation or not even survive 2 cleaning cycles
of 8 minutes at a time.
It was exactly 16 weeks in use, thus has only 32 cleaning cycles à persevered 8 minutes.
Since today a Grundig device is in use, Grundig sets unlike Dema a very detailed user guide at, is in the strongly recommended to take a break of at least 2 minutes between two cleaning cycles.
Dema has this notice until today failed, although the Dema device is twice as expensive
as the Grundig device.
