I have been scanned my private documents with a flatbed scanner. For years. What a nuisance. My flatbed scanner has now given up (fortunately) his mind and I had to get me a new scanner. After some research, which could fit my needs and my wallet, I'm very quickly encountered the iX100 and stuck after further research even with this scanner. Ordered, delivered and tested. I'm speechless. So an improvement on the operation with a wired flatbed scanner, which is incredible. The ability to take advantage of its access point instead of a wifi connection and direct as to remain online on your computer or smartphone and also not to have any time to change the WiFi connection is also implemented awesome. Even the switch between the connection to the computer and the connection to the smartphone (when closing the app) runs automatically within seconds. Tested with iPhone 5S. The necessary software was installed quickly on my MacBook Pro, and everything was very quick to set up. Much to my amazement the positive Fujitsu software has even recognized the used by me for Document Management Software DEVONthink Pro Office and the same made the required settings, so that the scans are equal transported there. I alone have now scanned nearly 200 pages in no time. These documents the variety of sizes, styles (thick and thin) and colors had. All documents were properly rotated, cut and meticulously crafted. A rescan due to faulty detection or processing was not necessary. I am absolutely satisfied. And by the way I also noticed that the scanner connects in a few seconds with my Fritz box, if you start it by opening the lid forward. Which is great, since the scanner is used often by me and I so do not have to wait each time until I can use him. In addition, the scanner is so small that I along with my MacBook can easily put him in the closet after use. Quite incidentally I can the scanner for recharging on my MacBook (folded in the closet on standby power) and is hanging the next day immediately ready for use again. A TWAIN interface I miss the way, no thanks to the truly complete pre-prepared PDF files. For why should I control the scanner via TWAIN externally and make a lot of adjustments, if I just get a perfect PDF file by pressing a button.
