The TV was there a few days earlier, sounded first principle, not bad but in some places lack of sound rather tinny. With the Sound Plate was the completely resolved without the now would HiFi or surround sound. For normal TV operation perfect if I want more, I'll take the hi-fi system.
One can hear the difference whatsoever nice if when you turn the TV sound is initially replaced by the plate and then switches to the subwoofer. I plugged the drive via HDMI, but the mentioned reaction times of 11 and 6 seconds, not understand. This is much faster with me until the disk is full there. The subwoofer is wirelessly connected to the panel (which also have no other choice) and both are with us but fairly close together.
Main reason for buying this record was that sound bars almost every 90 cm to well over 1 m wide, resulting in a nearly-80cm-32 inch TV does not look, especially when standing on a similarly broad glass table. Since the bar would indeed significantly overhangs what I visually now not imagined so hot.
In addition, almost any sound bar is so high that it hides the remote control receiver, or even the bottom of the screen of the television always lower standing. For the former problem though Yamaha has at least one solution in its bars, for the latter more, there is no if you do not want to work with any sockets.
Plates are relatively rare compared to bars and I had to check what is available in the market for now. If I remember back at intervals of 2 months there was not much more than LG and Philips to halfway reasonable prices. For LG then naturally spoke the good integration in the LG TV. Since winning at these additional speakers especially against CRT TVs lost volume back, I opted for the version with external subwoofer.
The "greater" LG LAB540 with integrated Blu-ray player does not interest me, as I of the speaker system significantly longer life than expected from a Blu-Ray player, whose mechanics are additionally enforce the vibrations in a speaker enclosure.
If you opt for this or any other Prdoukt, then make sure to note the size clearly before. The mapping of all sound Plates and sound bars are here (and elsewhere) visually represented totally distorted and do not reflect the real size ratios again. These plate appears on the pictures less wide and deep than it is in reality. And the subwoofer has quite the dimensions of a Mini Towers. No problem for me, but you should already know what's coming at you.
Optically, both devices work very well verararbeitet, also the subwoofer does not have to hide. The plate looks even noble with its beautiful surface.
The additional remote control of the drive I needed to date only in exceptional cases, when the disk for some reason sometimes not turned on off or in. But that was previously only happens once every few weeks time, which can be so neglected.
