Unfortunately, the connection via Wi-Fi is not working properly, so I connected the device via LAN. The connection is indeed already better, faster and more stable, but I have now again a cable lying around more. I do not want the wireless connection set up dozens of times to restart the device, or even a reset to be performed only because the device does not manage to keep the connection stable, let alone this set at all times. WiFi is now standard, but not really with this device, a firmware update did not bring anything. Maybe it's better now (through more updates), but I have no desire ever to act as testers. As I said, the connection via LAN to my music collection that is stored on a NAS, works great. Also, the Internet radio is outstanding, even if not all stations to be received. I laste the Denon but not on, may indeed be on the transmitter. From time to time the device is also a pause for thought, for whatever reason, usually usually on power, so then Felt minutes nothing would begrudge neither the operator nor the unit via remote control.
Very weak is the fact that only three Internet radio stations (hello, just three of thousands) can be selected via remote control. What kind of thoughtless nonsense. For the good old analogue radio stations via antenna at least 10 spaces are available. It would have been easy here, to prove the key for both analog radio as well as Internet radio.
Another point which brings me in recent times more and more grass, there is no switch, just this totally Sinnfreies in today's standby. I do not care how little power is consumed in standby or how comfortable it is, that the device equal terms, when you press the remote control. The switch is a penny article, but no, this just falls away. This bad habit is for some time at Denon (formerly have not done) become and also with many other manufacturers habit. Ok, now it is politically, but I would not leave any equipment on the market, which has no real off switch (replace main light bulbs with toxic mercury-containing lamps).
Enough excited. Via LAN the device top, due to the quirks only three stars.
