Ok, the console itself looks a bit different than the one I grew up with, but that'll be due to regional differences. Of course, I prefer what I consider to be the archetypal American model of my youth, but this one does the job just as well, and I'll be damned if it is not a sight easier to set up, to boot. None Of Those Pesky weird screw-bolt-nut connectors. Just simple European AV cables did hook up to a nice normal TV, Regardless of whatever else you happen to have hooked up to television Said. The game works perfectly so far - no glitches or lags, the saved games can be cleared or saved as Desired. One Thing That I might have Wished differently but what not surprised at what did the controller is not original. That said, I can not understand other posters who complain about a lack of quality or responsiveness of the controller. I find it perfectly easy to execute the same maneuvers as on the original, and When You Know what you're doing, you want Quickly forget whether or not the controller feels * exactly * like the original - the important thing Is that the response time and handling are the same, Which I would say They are.
Again, I've only owned the console and set up for about a month, so if anything deteriorates, I'll update my review. So far I'd say it what money well spent. Can not wait to pick up Street Fighter II!
