"The Friends of Mr. Cairo" of the sound artist Jon Anderson (Yes) and Vangelis is not a very simple piece of music that you can just listen to times outside of work. Too much attention for it demands despite its beautiful partly and very catchy melodies ("Outside of This (Inside of That)" "I'll Find My Way Home";; "Beside"). In my opinion, this is already an album that can be heard loud and also, in order to carry out its many, in particular produced by Vangelis subtleties. Who is primarily interested in beautiful, Vangelis-typical songs, should be limited to these three songs, and it's worth the whole album already, so beautiful they are.
But I also like the rhythmic songs (especially "State of Independence" and the title song, which is 12 minutes, the longest title).
The album shows the way, what a great composer and musician Vangelis is, what else should come true later in many cases.
