Reading the reviews, especially the negative ones, I hesitated to buy this version. I wanted a pocket Bible, not too expensive, well organized in not being afraid to turn pages (unlike the one I have is very beautiful but we are afraid of damaging). Suffice to say that I'm really satisfied: the price is ridiculous (and I also think that it should be the base price of a Bible because I think the goal is to be accessible to as many people) the impression is more than correct. While the paper is thin but this is no problem. The only downside would be the font size for people with sight problems. I am 24 so I confess I do not ask me such questions but if I had to read it to my grandparents I think that comfort would be less.
In conclusion: I would advise this purchase to anyone wishing to have a pocket Bible (ps: I had the opportunity to see the pocket Jerusalem Bible, it's still a huge pad unlike this one) to work and rework Scripture simply discover (I think the Bible is not like reading a novel from A to Z in the risk of finding it very tedious) but leafing. Besides a site very well about it (protesting): [...] It helps to understand the application of the scriptures in everyday life.
