First of all, my decision about this product: The recent purchases and reviews have myself decided to buy this pump. We had 5 years, a hardware store pump for more than 300 in service after this but failed repeatedly, we decided to form a new pump. The delivery took place within 48 hours. I was surprised about the length of the pump, the old had about 500 mm, the new 880 mm in diameter was but slightly smaller. The suction takes place not at the bottom of the pump but at about 400 mm. Reason, the separate construction of the engine (below) and pump (top) Due to various customer opinions about the enormous head of pump, I decided to replace it with brass fittings 5 year old suction through a 1 inch water hose. That was a good thing. After taking the pump has been used a lot of pressure on the tube, you could not squeeze these as soon as the pump has run.
