I have and finally made the long overdue step of Win7 32bit to Win7 64bit. As I put on an anytime runnable Windows value, I have installed the SSD as additional drive into the PC and afterwards. The new Win7 64bit installed on the SSD. I can start as required via the bootloader now both the old and the new Windows. The SSD has been recognized by Windows immediately after installation, and automatically installs a corresponding driver. After that, the SSD was formatted on the Disk Management Quick Format, and then immediately stood in Windows. Then the new Win7 64bit was installed on the SSD, which was done quickly and easily. The size of 256GB in my opinion is sufficient as a boot disk for Win7. 128GB would be to me personally, however, too small. Starting the PC has lasted until the appearance of the Windows user interface a good minute (at this time is going through the BIOS procedure included). With the old Windows configuration of the computer took almost 5 minutes until I could work in Windows. The tool SSD Scope you have to download it from the Transcend website. This tool is also described the Clone function, included for capturing existing installations. In addition, can be updated with the tool the firmware of the SSD, which was not necessary but for me. Other functions such as SMART, Erase, Trim etc. round off the tool.
