But first the positives:
The picture and sound quality in my opinion top. The menu navigation is better compared to other manufacturers. Multimedia offer compared also super.
Now for the negatives:
As already mentioned, the thing is just too loud. Also have regular audio CDs and DVDs tested and even there is not quiet the unit. Since one can only say: Fail. This can be any no-name product better. The Blu-Ray was my reference "Inception". The operating noise is so loud that I can not accept with all due respect it in 2.5 m distance. Another small gripe: no optical output! Too bad!
Have returned and ordered a Samsung C5900 device. From the noise development better but still too loud !! Software worse than Sony! So back! Panasonic DMP-BD65 ordered and been surprised. Most Blu-Rays run absolutely smoothly. Only if you put your ear directly to the device you get with what. Unfortunately there are also some Blu-Rays are exceptionally loud again. This is then, unfortunately, probably to the disc manufacturer (z. B. precisely Inception). But is extremely quiet again after a quarter of an hour. DVDs are also OK on the volume. CDs absolutely quiet. Will then probably remain at Panasonic.
Zusammeenfassend we regret to say that there is probably no hinbekommt manufacturers to establish a halfway silent Blu-Ray player. Very sobering, since one spends some. If I were to build as an engineer those products which do not fulfill the main tasks, I would be unemployed. Manufacturers love, I hope you instead prefer to take care of with multimedia high tech first to the core task: discs neatly and quietly play ... Hope I could help you.
