I bought this product following the fairly positive reviews. I wanted to buy this product to plug in a USB enclosure 3 internal card reader (internal port 20 pins) and a hard drive LaCie USB External 3 (with its own external power supply). The internal port 20 pins work well, but these are the 2 USB 3 external ports that do not allow to start playing the external hard drive. I specify that the dococool card is supplied with the Molex plug and my external hard drive is powered by it's own external power supply. I changed the USB cable 3 and nothing works. I also changed the internal USB card 3 by an old I had, and there the hard drive starts well. So many just 2 USB ports 3 or external controller of the 2 external sockets. I am disappointed with this product and I will be ordering this brand. Too bad. I would not recommend this product.
