Office mouse, not more

Compared to the older, no longer available Logitech mice a severe retrogression: The old 'MouseWare', a driver who had extended the Mouse dialog box of the Windows Control Panel to useful settings option, this mouse no longer compatible. Without driver but does the mouse wheel (at least under Windows XP) only up / down, but not left / right: so nothing with 4-way scroll wheel! For this you need the now 59 - fifty-nine! - Megabytes bloated SetPoint software that constantly moves along as a background program (if it has not crashed once again). If you really want, you can download (59 megabytes ...) at Logitech, as supplied is nothing.

So would rather operate as a standard gray mouse with the Windows drivers and without the side scrolling option?
This goes well. When the mouse is used only to click and highlight text. But I also do photo editing. And since I am almost desperate because were simply no descendants outline with this mouse! Slow smooth movements sets this mouse to with bizarre spikes! Even with the old rubber ball mice went the better many times, with other optical mice from Logitech as well. But the RX250 apparently has the Tatterich.

Therefore, I have otherwise still bought me an old model of an optical Logitech Premium Mouse, which works just fine. The RX250 now depends as demand mouse for notebooks and there's better than the touchpad ...
