He has just discovered that his wife is cheating on him, and he lost his job ... because his wife's lover is none other than his own boss. And then, in coming bury his father, he discovers that the last will of the latter was that his wife and 4 children observe the ritual of Shiv'ah in his honor ... which means they will have to coexist in a limited space for 7 long days for them that a family meal rarely ends without one of more members of the family to leave, slamming the door! These 7-day Shiv'ah will put a strain on nerves already proven Judd, but also will allow him to settle some accounts with his childhood, his family and his conscience ...

Family, I hate you! Here is one possible credo of this quirky novel, but not alone! The stormy cohabitation of members of this family has high color is good news for lovers of family camera, and family relationships are not the only ones to take for their degree! Pretense, hypocrisy and unspoken secrets of a happy buffoon ... mishmash in which it is difficult not to find our own and through our own patterns! And despite the caustic remarks, a good dose of tenderness even when it feels to break all these crazy characters, irresponsible or manipulative, and it is with a knowing smile that is closed this slice of life ... well, if one can say that the circumstances !!
